Bullet-riddled bodies found in NWA

MIRAMSHAH: Two bullet-riddled bodies of unidentified persons were found in different areas of North Waziristan Agency on Wednesday.

Local residents said one unidentified body was found on Miramshah-Ghulam Khan road while the other was recovered from Miramshah-Dattakhel road. They said their ages were about 14 and 24 years,

respectively. The people said that unknown assailants gunned down both the victims and threw their bodies the roadsides.

The local people brought the bodies to the agency headquarters hospital, Miramshah, where they were kept for identification till late night. The people made announcements through loudspeakers, urging the people to identify the bodies.

Meanwhile, one person was killed and two others were wounded as people of two rival sub-tribes resorted to firing over a land

dispute in Dattakhel tehsil. Both sides used light and heavy weapons against each other, which damaged several houses.
