Guards injured resisting Rs4.2m bank robbery

MULTAN: Armed robbers injured two guards and took away Rs4.2 million from a bank branch here on Tuesday.

According to police, four armed men barged in Al-Habib Bank branch on Bosan Road, Chungi No 6.

They injured two on-duty guards when they tried to offer resistance, before collecting cash and fleeing away.

The injured were rushed to the hospital for medical aid.

Police reached the spot and cordoned off the area. An FIR was yet to be lodged by Gulghasht police.
