Six injured as bus overturns on National Highway

KARACHI: At least six people were injured in the early hours of Monday when a passenger coach overturned on the National Highway in Sindh’s Kandhkot district, DawnNews reported.

The accident took place near Ghouspur area in Kandhkot when driver of a passenger coach lost control of the vehicle and it overturned.

Police personnel and rescue teams immediately reached the site of the incident and started relief work, shifting the victims to a nearby hospital.

Pakistan has one of the world’s worst records for fatal traffic accidents, blamed on poor roads, badly maintained vehicles and reckless driving.
