DELHI: Mr. M.A. Jinnah, President of the All-India Muslim League, left tonight [April 19] by the Frontier Mail for Lahore. Nawabzada Liaquat Ali Khan and office-bearers of the Delhi Provincial Muslim League were present to see him off.

Just before the departure of the train, a Punjabi Muslim Military Officer of the Indian Rank rushed to Mr. Jinnah’s compartment to have a glimpse of the great Muslim leader. Mr. Jinnah came forward and shook hands with him.

The officer, who recently had returned from the Middle East, said that he had heard all about him and the Muslim League while he was on the front. He added that every Mussalman there, from a sepoy to the officer, was proud of Quaid-e-Azam.
