Flower, vegetable show held

ISLAMABAD: The annual flower and vegetable show of Morgah Club was held here on Thursday.

The show was inaugurated by Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

While appreciating the efforts in promoting healthy tradition of holding annual flower and vegetable show, Mr Abbasi said Attock Refinery was pursuing excellence in oil business as well as in environmental issues.

They are conscious of the harmful effect of hydrocarbon and taking steps to reduce carbon footprints.

Earlier, President of Morgah Club and head of ARL Adil Khattak said the refinery’s $251 million expansion and upgradation project was progressing as per schedule and will be completed by end of next year. This would not only enhance refining capacity by 25 per cent but also enable us to produce Euro compliant environment friendly fuels, he added.
