MARDAN: Two persons were killed and as many received injuries here on Saturday in separate incidents.

Officials said that 70-year-old Rafiulllah was killed and his two sons identified as Wasiullah and Samiullah received injuries when roof of a room in their house collapsed on Bashkhali Road.

The officials of Rescue 1122 retrieved the body and injured from the debris of the collapsed room.

In the second incident, an ASI of Special Brach received critical head injuries when his motorcycle was hit by the motorcar of an army officer in Khawaji Ganj Bazaar on Friday evening.

The ASI identified as Askar Ali succumbed to his injuries at Mardan Medical Complex Hospital in the small hours on Saturday.

Hoti police station registered FIR against the army officer on the complaint of deceased’s brother Mohammad Ali.
