Nadra urged to overcome forms’ shortage

DERA DHAZI KHAN: People from all walks of life have appealed to the Nadra to make available in abundance computerised security forms at the union council level as they are facing hardships in getting birth, divorce, death and marriage certificates on account of their shortage.

A union council employee, Rashid, told Dawn that Nadra provided insufficient computerised security forms which were causing inconvenience to seekers.

He said the Nadra provided 100 forms per union council which was not enough to meet their ever-growing demand.

At least 59 secretaries of union councils of Dera Ghazi Khan met the local government assistant director for the provision of a sufficient number of Nadra’s golden security forms.

Sources said the government had decided to itself publish security forms in the country instead of purchasing them from a foreign company, but it again reverted to its decision.

Student Rashid Aleem, Dr Sajid, teacher Khalid and farmer Allah Ditta made a fervent appeal to Nadra for the provision of required number of security forms.

Nadra’s officer Mazhar Husain said the authority would soon overcome the problem saying it was already providing security forms to 59 union councils regularly.
