Larkana BISE announces first year results
LARKANA, Dec 14: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Larkana, announced on Saturday the results of annual examinations of Higher Secondary Certificate Part-I (first year) for pre-medical, pre-engineering, commerce and humanities groups.
According to the figures provided by the office of the controller of examination Sikandar Mirjat, in the pre-medical group around 13,831 candidates appeared in the exams and out of them 11,561 could clear all six papers.
The result of 357 candidates was withheld on charges of using unfair means during exams.
In the pre-engineering group, a total of 9,056 candidates appeared in the exams and out of them 7,431 could clear all six subjects. The result of 305 candidates was withheld on charges of using unfair means during exams.
Meanwhile, around 4,426 candidates appeared in the humanities group and only 3,393 could clear all six subjects and the results of 271 and 255 students were withheld on charges of cheating and not submitting all required documents, respectively.
About 347 students appeared from the commerce group and 209 passed all the seven papers. Results of 18 candidates were withheld on charges using unfair means while giving exams.
