QUETTA, Oct 2: Most petrol pumps and CNG stations in Quetta remained closed on Wednesday after the owners decided to observe a strike in protest against what they said raids conducted by the personnel of a government department.

The owners denied reports that they were selling Iranian petrol at their outlets.

Customs department officials had raided petrol pumps to check the sale of smuggled petroleum products.—APP
