Naheed Nusrat, the wife of the legendary music composer and singer Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, passed away on Sept 13, at the Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga, Ontario. She was bed-ridden for the past one month. She is survived by a daughter. Naheed Nusrat had sifted to Canada after her husband’s death in 1997. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family.
