HYDERABAD, Aug 24: A wooden box wrapped in a shopping bag and placed on the third floor of an apartment building caused a scare in a locality falling within the jurisdiction of the Cantonment police station on Saturday.

Some residents of Al-Raheem Plaza spotted the suspicious-looking article and informed the police.

The BDS staff examined the article and found only garbage stuffed in the box.

The police also sear-ched around the apartment building, located close to the Police Line Headquarters, before clearing the area.—Staff Correspondent
