Uplift plan reviewed

QUETTA, May 24: The coalition partners of the Balochistan government has decided to give equal importance to all area of the province in the development budget for a balance and comprehensive development.

A joint meeting of the ruling parties held here late on Friday evening with Chief Minister Jam Mir Mohammad Yousaf in the chair reviewed the government performance and discussed other important issues and took various decisions.

Reviewing the next financial year’s budget and annual development programme it was decided that all areas would be granted equal funds for speedy uplift of the province.

“All development projects would be prepared with the consultation of elected representatives,” the meeting decided. It was further decided that those projects would be given preference, which would be completed within minimum time and benefited to maximum population.

The meeting also reviewed the strategy of the opposition parties during current session of the assembly and decided to give full attention on the legislation and opposition would be taken into confidence on all issues.

The meeting decided to give representation to opposition members in standing committees.
