‘Bat and Arrow’ team up to divide PML-N vote: Nisar

TAXILA, April 27: Former opposition leader in the National Assembly Ch Nisar Ali Khan on Saturday said that arrow and bat had teamed up to divide the vote bank of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

“Zardari is using the Bat as a tool to remain in politics as he knows the public will reject them on May 11,” said Ch Nisar, who is contesting for NA-53 and PP-7 on PML-N ticket.

He was addressing a mammoth public gathering at Usman Khattar in Taxila and at Wah Cantonment on Saturday.

He said that upcoming polls would be for a change to bring the country out of crisis.

“Those who are changing their loyalties cannot bring change in the country,” he said.

The former opposition leader said that he never jumped from one party to the other but did politics of principals and betterment of people.

He said that he launched a number of development projects in his constituency including schools, hospitals, roads and water schemes.

He said that people of Pakistan were with N-League and they would elect Nawaz Sharif as prime minister.

"The opportunists who supported military dictator Pervez Musharraf in uniform have become active again to strengthen Zardari to push the country at the verge of destruction,” he said.

“The people have recognised the real faces of thieves,” he declared, adding that May 11 would be the doomsday for ‘thieves and looters.’

He pointed out that Asif Ali Zardari and his government pushed the people into Stone Age as darkness was ruling the country.

“The people have faced worst load-shedding during the PPPP government,” he said.

The loadshedding has ruined the industry in Punjab as thousands of industrial units have been closed due to shortage of electricity, rendering thousands of labourers jobless, the PML-N leader claimed.

In fact the PPPP government did so to weak the PML-N. He said that if the PML-N succeeded in forming government, it would eliminate loadshedding within three year.
