From Hasina’s pen

It would be an understatement to suggest that writer Hasina Moin has proven credentials. She is one of Pakistan’s foremost dramatists as far as the television industry goes. Her latest accomplishment in that regard is a play titled Anjaane Nagar which can be seen on a private TV channel.

Using her typical flair for language, Hasina M has this time round chosen a topic that not many in this country attach importance to. The drama serial revolves around the historic buildings in the scenic town of Murree which have been badly treated by those who favour modernity over tradition. It’s a very well-constructed play and given contemporary trends on Pakistani television, it is a praiseworthy effort.
