LAHORE, June 23: In an expected move, Punjab police authorities on Sunday transferred and posted 30 district police officers (DPOs) across the province.

Some of newly-appointed DPOs got their previous positions.

According to a notification, Punjab Special Branch SP Rana Ayyaz Saleem was transferred and posted Khanewal DPO vice Sajjad Hassan Khan Manj ordered to report to the Central Police Office (CPO).

Mr Saleem, who has earlier worked as Sahiwal DPO and Lahore Model Town SP (operations), had got him transferred from Sahiwal during by-elections after he refused to become part of the district machinery to favour the PML-N candidate.

AIG Discipline Rana Abdul Jabbar was transferred and posted Muzaffargarh DPO vice Dr Haider Ashraf who was transferred and posted Sragodha DPO. Sargodha DPO Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry was transferred and posted Punjab Special Branch SSP.

AIG Operations CPO Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi was transferred and posted Gujrat DPO vice Dar Ali Khan Khattak who was ordered to report to the CPO.

Faisalabad SSP (operations) Muhammad Gohar Nafees was transferred and posted Sialkot DPO vice Humayun Bashir Tarrar who was transferred and posted Sheikhupura DPO. Sheikhupura DPO Muhammad Ahsan Younas was made an OSD.

Lahore SSP (administration) Muhammad Zubair Dareshak was transferred and posted Hafizabad DPO vice Faisal Ali Raja who was directed to report to the CPO.

SSP Dr Inam Waheed was transferred and posted Lodhran DPO vice Inamur Rehman Malik who was transferred and made an OSD.

Bahawalpur DPO Sohail Zafar Chattha was transferred and posted Rahim Yar Khan DPO vice Sohail Habib Tajak who was made an OSD.Mr Chattha got a second posting in the same district.

Ameer Taimoor was transferred and posted Mandi Bahauddin DPO vice Sadiq Ali Dogar transferred and made an OSD.

Kashif Mushtaq Kanju was transferred and posted Chakwal DPO vice Ahmad Arsalan Malik who was made an OSD.

Special Branch SSP Faisal Gulzar was transferred and posted Miawnali DPO vice Shahzad Akbar who was sent top the central police office.Lahore SSP Internal Accountability Division SSP Dr Muhammad Abid was transferred and posted Dera Ghazi Khan DPO vice Muhammad Waqas Nazir who was posted AIG Career Planning. Intizar Hussain Jaffery was posted Khushab DPO against an existing vacancy.

Shahnawaz was posted Pakkpatan DPO vice Humayun Masood who was made an OSD. Vehari DPO Shariq Kamal was transferred and made OSD while Rajanpur DPO Ishfaq Ahmad was also transferred and made an OSD.
