School blown up in Charsadda

CHARSADDA, June 9: Unidentified persons blew up a government primary school for girls in Sar Dheri area here on Sunday morning.

Official sources said that the miscreants planted two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in the building of government primary school for girls in Resaldar Kallay on Saturday night that went off in the small hours of Sunday.

The school building was destroyed in the explosions. According to bomb disposal squad personnel, 10 kilograms of explosives were used in the blasts.

The watchman of the school registered FIR against unidentified persons with Sar Dheri police station.
