ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's inflation rate eased to 5.13 percent in May year-on-year from 5.8 percent in April, the Bureau of Statistics said on Monday.

On a month-on-month basis, prices rose 0.51 percent. Average inflation rate from July-May was 7.51 percent.
