British Airways Emergency Landing

Amateur video shows smoke trailing from a British Airways flight as it is forced to make an emergency landing at Heathrow Airport.

Another video from onboard shows the jet in steep descent.

The plane was travelling from London to Oslo when it was forced to make an emergency landing at Heathrow after a technical fault in an engine.

The Airbus A319 aircraft was carrying 75 passengers and five crew.

The airport, Europe's busiest, closed both its runways to deal with the incident. They have now reopened but the incident is likely to lead to the cancellation of hundreds of flights.
