TAXILA, May 19: The Taxila Police booked five workers of the Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf for aerial firing in a rally taken out when the returning officer, after re-counting of votes, declared the party candidate victorious.

Police sources said Gulistan Khan, Mohammad Nasir, Talat Khan, Nisar Khan and Waqar Khan had been involved in the aerial firing.

Three of the accused managed to flee from the scene while two others, Gulistan Khan and Mohammad Nasir, were arrested.
