Power outages in Swat

MINGORA, Feb 20: The court of district and sessions judge Swat directed the chairman Wapda and chief executive Pesco to submit their replies in the court within three days in a writ petition filed by a citizen against unscheduled loadshedding in Swat.

The judge Ayoub Khan while hearing a case filed by Sardar Khan Yousafzai, resident of Kabal, against the prolonged and unscheduled loadshedding in Kabal, Barikot, Khwazakhela and Bahrain tehsils of Swat, directed the chairman Wapda and chief executive Pesco to submit their replies till Feb 23.

The petitioner pleaded that 22 hours loadshedding was being carried out in different localities of Swat. —Correspondent
