KARACHI, April 26: The CID police claimed on Thursday to have arrested four suspects said to be involved in several targeted killings, kidnapping and other criminal cases and seized weapons found in their possession.

Kashif Ahmed alias Buddha, Mohammad Furqan, Arshad alias Arshi and Asghar Khan alias Shani were arrested in the Korangi Industrial Area during a raid conducted by the CID team, headed by SSP Fayyaz Khan, while acting on a tip-off.  The police also seized one MP-5 rifle, three TT pistols and two motorbikes found in their custody.

The police claimed that the suspects during interrogation confessed to the murder of a former nazim of the Malir area, Mohammad Riaz, and activists of a rival political group.
