Book launch

LAHORE, March 1: The launching ceremony of a book entitled “A Treatise on the Civil Service of Pakistan: The Structural-Functional History (1601-2011)” will be held at the Punjab Institute of Language, Art and Culture here on Wednesday.

The book has been authored by Ms Kiran Khurshid who is a DMG officer of 34th Common and presently working as deputy secretary, Higher Education Department.

Former chief secretary Javed Qureshi will be the chief guest, while Dr Amjad Saqib, Orya Maqbool Jan, Dr Tahir Kamran, FS Aijazuddin and Tariq Sultan will speak on the occasion.-—  Staff Reporter
