TUMP TEHSI

TUMP TEHSIL: Despite its picturesque surroundings and rich cultural history, the Tump tehsil of Kech district in Balochistan is grappling with a myriad of problems. The town lacks basic infrastructure, such as proper roads, healthcare facilities and educational institutions, making it difficult for the residents to access essential services. The inadequate infrastructure also impedes economic growth and development, leaving many residents without viable job opportunities. With the right interventions and support, Tump can emerge as a thriving and prosperous community. All stakeholders must work together to address these issues and pave the way for sustainable development and progress in Tump tehsil.

VITAL TRAINS: For the convenience of the people of Sindh and Balochistan, train services, such as Chiltan Express, Khushal Khan Khattak Express and Akbar Express, which were shut down during the Covid pandemic, should be resumed without any further delay. These trains will not only increase the revenue of Pakstan Railways, but will also facilitate and eleviate financial burden on the poor people who have been exploited by the road transport mafia for the last three years. Besides, the section from Kot Addu to Jacobabad will also be saved from destruction. The relevant minister must grant the people affordable travel relief during this time of crisis.

DAMASCUS TO KARACHI: The high cost of flights in Syria, particularly on the Damascus-Karachi route, is disappointing. Currently, there is only one airline offering flights on this route. While this provides some level of service to the passengers, it limits choices and drives up prices as well. We fondly remember Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) previously serving this route. Its absence has created a gap in options for the travellers. The airline authorities, especially PIA, should consider resuming services on the sector.
