PESHAWAR: Mohammad Intikhab advocate was re-elected unopposed as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa president of Pakistan Muslim League-Q for another term of four years on Saturday.

According to a statement, the election process was carried out in a meeting of its provincial council at a local hotel here. The election was supervised by Moazam Butt advocate, Maulana Mohammad Shoaib and Ghulam Mustafa Malik.

Mr Intikhab’s name was proposed by senior councillor Saifullah Khan, which was approved by the meeting by show of hands.

Similarly, Dr Shaheen Abdur Raaj was elected unopposed as provincial general secretary. The rest of party offices would be filled within next few days.

During the meeting, several resolutions were adopted which condemned the Indian forces for killing innocent people in occupied Kashmir.
