KARACHI: Playing at home course defending champion Zohaib Asif shot a steady three under par 69 to lead the pack of golfers in the 36-holes amateurs category of the seventh Sindh Golf Association (SGA) Cup at the Defence Authority Country and Golf Club (DACGC) on Saturday.

Zohaib’s scores envisaged five birdies and two bogeys.

Last year’s runner-up Waseem Rana, also of the DHA and Arsalan Sheikoh Khan of Kamra are tied in the second place four shots away at one over 73.

Meanwhile, Aania Farooq and Humaia Khalid won the ladies gross and net titles respectively.

The juniors under-16 and under-18 gross titles went to Hamza Sheikoh and Junaid Irfan respectively.

The event concludes on Sunday. Mr. Abdullah Hussain Haroon will be the chief guest.
