QUETTA: Parliamentary Secretary for Religious Affairs and Pakistan Muslim League-N MNA Khalil George Bhutto has alleged that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf wants to create unrest and anarchy in the country by organising the Raiwind march and added that such protests may create hurdles in the implementation of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

Talking to journalists here on Sunday, he termed the Raiwind march of PTI a great help to those elements who wanted the national economy to be destroyed.

He said that the PTI had announced the protest march at a time when the international business community was lauding steps taken by the government for making the country’s economy stronger.

“The Raiwind protest march announced by the PTI has hidden objectives of causing anarchy, unrest and chaos in the country at a time when the CPEC and other mega projects are being developed by the government,” Mr Bhutto said.

He said the PTI leadership should keep it in mind that political activists of the PML-N might react if PTI workers tried to damage the house of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Raiwind.

“Raiwind is a holy place and PTI leaders and workers should visit Tablighi Markaz in Raiwind to learn tolerance and other good things instead of staging a protest march on Raiwind,” he said.

Referring to the Kashmir issue, the PML-N leader condemned atrocities being committed by Indian security forces against Kashmiri people and said that nobody could deprive Kashmiri people of their right to self-determination.

Referring to Operation Zarb-i-Azb, he said the operation had broken the backbone of terrorists. He paid rich tribute to Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps and other law-enforcement agencies for eliminating terrorists and their supporters.

The PML-N leader expressed his deep sorrow and grief over the loss of lives of lawyers and journalists who were killed in the Quetta Civil Hospital suicide bombing.
