BADIN: A young girl and mother of an infant was allegedly killed by her father-in-law near Matli town of Badin district, police said on Monday.
SSP Tando Mohammad Khan Shabir Ahmed Sethar told Dawn that the accused has been taken into custody.
He added that ASP Tando Mohammad Khan has been directed to “thoroughly probe into the matter and report on urgent basis”.
Sethar said that a First Information Report (FIR) would be registered in the light of the investigation.

Another violation of the protection of women without a bill, so far in Sindh! And, the violation has been committed by the basic guardian and the natural protector himself!

A woman was stoned to death by her husbsnd on July 15 in the same place. It was reported in dawn news. There is such an alarming increase in violence against women.

It is very sad. However, it is hard to say there is an icrease. I fear the truth may be that the violence was always there, but rarely reported.
