LAHORE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Lahore, has declared the result of secondary school (Class IX) annual examination, 2015.

As many as 251,641 candidates appeared in the examination out of which 106,385 were declared successful, showing a pass percentage of 42.28.

MULTAN: In the BISE Multan, 111,328 candidates appeared in the exam. Of them, 49,568 were declared successful showing a pass percentage of 44.52.

In science group, 88,972 candidates appeared out of which 40,060 were declared successful showing the passing percentage of 45.02 while in arts group 22,356 candidates appeared in the examination out of which 9,508 passed the examination while the pass percentage remained 42.52.

GUJRANWALA: The BISE Gujranwala also announced the result of the 9th class.

Speaking at a press conference, board chairman Prof Muhammad Aslam Seikho said 248,534 candidates had appeared in the examination and 100,857 were declared successful, showing the pass percentage of 40.58.

BAHAWALPUR: According to BISE Bahawalpur, 36,551 candidates out of total 85,684 remained successful, showing a pass percentage of 42.66.

DERA GHAZI KHAN: In all 80,115 candidates appeared and 34,481 passed the exam with a percentage of 43.03pc.
