OKARA: Hujra Shah Muqeem police have registered a case against Rani Bibi, Muhammad Boota, Shakil Ahmad and Sajid Ali, of village Juhgian Mahrook, for threatening a vaccination team worker.

Asif reported to police he was in the village to administer measles vaccines to the children when Rani Bibi stopped him from work. Soon, other people joined her and ordered him to leave.

BAIL: The district police officer (DPO) says the prosecution branch would move the district and sessions court against the bail granted to Amplifier Act violators by the special judicial magistrate.

City Police A-Division had arrested Samar Jamil and Nabeedul Haq for violating the Sound System Regulation Ordinance of 2015. The special judicial magistrate, however, granted them bail.

DPO Muhammad Faisal Rana said the police prosecution legal branch would move the court of sessions judge against the decision. He said the magistrate had granted them bail in a non-bailable offense.
