LANDI KOTAL: Pakistani authorities on Thursday deported 78 Afghan nationals to Afghanistan via Torkham border.

Torkham political tehsildar Nek Mohammad said that the law enforcement agencies had arrested 78 Afghan citizens in different raids in Peshawar. He said that after preliminary investigations it was found that all the arrested Afghans had entered Pakistan without any valid travel documents. The deported Afghan citizens were handed over to Afghan authorities at Torkham border.

Meanwhile, a young man identified as Farooq Khan was gunned down by unidentified gunmen in Ghundi area of Jamrud on Thursday. Reason behind the killing could not be known.

However, the Khasadar force registered a case and has started investigations. Also, one Bhutto Afridi, who was abducted on Wednesday, safely returned home on Thursday.
