TAXILA: A man shot dead his sister in the limits of Taxila police station on Sunday.

Police sources said the 17 years old victim had married of her own free will two months ago.

On Sunday she was visiting her parents’ house when her 19-year-old brother shot her and fled away.

Quoting the family, Investigation Officer Sub Inspector Sikandar Khan said the murder was a case of honour killing.

The police registered a case against the accused and handed over the body to the family after autopsy at THQ hospital Taxila.
