PSF chief awards Tayyab Aslam

ISLAMABAD: President of the Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt on Monday awarded cash prize to Tayyab Aslam for his victory in recently concluded 21st Asian Junior Individual Squash Championship in Iran.

The Pakistan squad comprising Tayyab, Asim Khan, Israr Ahmed and Darosham Khan along with coach Gogi Allauddin participated in the continental event.

In the U-19 final, Tayyab defeated India’s Kush Kumar whereas Israr and Asim lost in semi-finals and quarter-finals, respectively. In the U-15 category, Darosham featured in the quarter-finals.

While appreciating the performance of Tayyab and that of other young players, Tahir also lauded the efforts of PSF coaching staff for giving proper training and guidance to the players.—APP
