Talk about Turkish and Spanish soaps invading the Pakistani drama territory! This is becoming increasingly interesting. All the hullabaloo created by some of our TV celebs about our ‘cultural norms’ being violated will now take a new turn. News is that sooner rather than later Iranian plays will also hit Pakistani TV screens.

Now Iran is a fellow Muslim country and is famous for making aesthetically beautiful and intellectually rich films. Their TV too can’t be any different. So once their dramas are aired, there is likelihood that they will outshine every other thing. If that happens, then what will our TV celebs crib about? Think.
