ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehrik-i -Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has said that his party is awarding tickets to people with good reputation.

Addressing the launching of “Naya Pakistan Fund” in Islamabad on Friday he said that tickets would be given only on merit.

He pledged to award 25 per cent of the tickets to youth of up-to 35 years of age. The PTI chief said that the party would provide financial assistance to educated youth to contest the elections through the fund.

He said the fund will be used transparently and its audit will be carried out by the best audit firm. He appealed to the people in the country and abroad to donate in this fund for making a new Pakistan.

Imran Khan reiterated his position that the PTI would not enter into electoral alliance with any party, however he said that seat adjustments are possible in some constituencies.

Referring to his meeting with caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Najam Sethi, he said that the only thing that he demanded was that Sethi conduct free, fair and transparent elections.
