KHYBER AGENCY: Pakistani jet fighters on Wednesday targeted the outlawed Tehrik-i-Taliban’s hideouts in Tirah Valley of Khyber Agency.

Official sources claim that hideouts of TTP militants were struck in the evening by the jets.

The sources said that radio intercept later confirmed that four militants were killed, while five others were injured and three hideouts were also destroyed in the offensive.

Tirah Valley, believed to be the last pocket of resistance from the militants, has being inaccessible to media.

It has not been possible to confirm reports independently from the area.

Gains in the fight have been claimed by warring militant groups and security forces through their own means.
