LAHORE: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the Pakistan Muslim League-Q -(PML-Q) held another round of meetings during which they discussed seat adjustments and other issues, DawnNews reported.

The meeting was held in Model Town at the residence of PPP Punjab President Mian Manzoor Wattoo, which was attended by Federal Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira, Chaudhary Pervez Elahi, Moonis Elahi and Senator Kamil Ali Agha.

Qamar Zaman Kaira said that during the meeting there were discussions held over MPA's in Punjab. He said that during the next round of talks they will discuss MNA's seats.

The information minister said that in places where the PPP does not hold seats, there will be adjustments. They also decided that they will participate in the general elections together using their own election symbols.

In reply to a question, he said that PML-N's Shahbaz Sharif and Chaudhary Nisar should coordinate with Nawaz Sharif before making remarks, due to their conflicting statements.

Qamar Zaaman Kaira also said that the decision made by the Supreme Court regarding Tahirul Qadri's petition will not make a difference regarding the agreement made with him.
