LAHORE, Feb 3: A team comprising officials of the city district administration removed several signboards displayed at various shops on The Mall on Sunday in continuation of its move to keep uniformity in affixing advertising boards.

The CDGL is presently involved in getting restored initially five buildings on The Mall under the phase-1 of the Dilkash Lahore Project.

After a series of discussions, representatives of the CDGL and shopkeepers had earlier agreed to remove various billboards and a deadline given in this regard had also expired on Feb 1.

WORK: The CDGL sought on Sunday an early completion of the on-going carpeting work on some dilapidated stretches of The Mall, directing the authorities to construct these as per standardized specifications.

In a visit to the site, the DCO directed the officials to monitor the work on a daily basis and get it completed within a couple of days for the convenience of the people.
