ISLAMABAD: The Pakistani government tabled the 23rd constitutional amendment in the National Assembly on Monday aimed at enhancing the representation of minorities in both national and provincial assemblies.
Federal Law Minister Farooq H Naek presented the bill which proposes an addition of four minority seats in the National Assembly.
Similarly, the bill proposes an increase of three minority seats in the Sindh Assembly, two in Punjab Assembly, and one each in the Balochistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa provincial assemblies.
