IT is indeed a great pleasure to learn that the Central Directorate of National Savings (CDNS) has recently launched ‘Students Welfare Prize Bonds’.

According to the statement by the Director-General of CDNS, the investments in various schemes have touched the Rs2280 billion mark.

I would like to record that National Savings Centres are providing an excellent service with full cooperation to investors irrespective of quantum of investment.

I would, however, request the relevant authority managing the National Savings Centres to ensure that all centres are well-furnished, properly lighted and have adequate numbers of fans or airconditioners.

Last but not least, all the centres must have an adequate number of staff and IT facilities as we find that there are still some centres which have the manual system.
