LAHORE, Nov 11: The provincial police chief on Sunday dismissed a former Raiwind circle deputy superintendent of police from service on charges of corruption, negligence and professional dishonesty.
According to a spokeswoman, DSP Jahangir Butt was facing inquiries in different cases.
Mr Butt was facing an inquiry into the alleged sale of narcotics seized from a peddler by the police some time ago. — Staff Reporter
