LAHORE, Oct 17: Two members of the Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf and former MPAs from Bahawalpur Chaudhry Riaz Ahmad and Ahmad Nawaz have joined the Pakistan Muslim League - Quaid.

They made the announcement during their meeting with PML-Q Punjab President and Deputy Prime Minister Pervaiz Elahi at his residence here on Wednesday.

The two leaders, reposing confidence in the leadership of Shujaat Husain and Pervaiz Elahi, said the PML-Q would emerge victorious in the coming elections.

Pervaiz welcomed them and said the objective of his party’s politics was to serve the people and because of this it had done development works throughout Punjab without any discrimination.

Bahawalpur’s former district nazim Tariq Bashir Cheema, Basharat Raja, Dr Afzal and Ehsanul Haq were also present.
