KARACHI: Three people including a woman lost their lives in separate incidents of firing in Karachi on Monday morning, said rescue sources.

As per details a woman was shot dead near Disco Morr in North Karachi when a stray bullet from unknown direction hit her.

She was identified as Saima, 27 and was resident of the area. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Another person was gunned down when unidentified armed men opened fire at him in Nazimabad number 1. He sustained multiple bullet injuries and died on the spot. The man was identified as Qamar Naqvi, about 28 year old, and was resident of Rizvia society. The deceased was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico- legal formalities.

A bullet-riddled dead body was found from Aram Bagh area in the limits of Aram Bagh police station. The body had torture marks, while hands and feet were tied with rope, said the rescue sources.

The identity of victim was not ascertained till the filing of the report. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital for postmortem.
