PESHAWAR, Sept 30: The players and officials of the second Fata Women Sports Gala organised by the directorate of sports, Fata, on Sunday demanded of the governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to direct the concerned officials to pay travelling and daily allowances (TA & DA) to them.

Led by principal of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Subhan Kurr, Mohmand Agency, Samina Yousaf, sports officer Mohmand Agency, Khurshid Iqbal, sports manager FR Peshawar and other technical officials and players held a joint press conference here at Qayyum Sports Complex.

They warned that if allowances were not paid to them they would not participate in any games to be organised in future.

Samina Yousaf said she arranged the dresses for the girls of PT show from her own pocket, but was not returned the amount despite promises by the concerned officials.

Khursheed Iqbal demanded of the governor to take stern action against those not giving opportunity to genuine players hailing from Fata.—APP
