PIA’s retired employees, who made the airline “Great people to fly with”, are having a tough time owing to the unabated inflation. Essential commodities, especially food items, are becoming expensive day by day.

According to the agreement between the association of the retired employees and the PIA management, with the increase in the salary of regular employees, pensions will also increase. We are not asking for opulence.

It will palliate if an immediate increase of at least by 25 per cent in pension is granted.

We urge the PIA authorities concerned and appeal to the president and the prime minister to look into the matter personally at the earliest.
