KARACHI, July 24: Jamil Aslam excelled with both bat and the ball to guide Medicam CC to a six-wicket victory over Mulaqatiyar CC in the Aga Khan Gymkhana Ramazan Trophy Silver Jubilee cricket tournament fixture at the AKG Ground here on Tuesday.

Jamil first took two wickets for 21 runs with his off-spinners as Mulaqatiyar CC made 139-7 in their 20 overs. Opener Mohammad Owais struck six boundaries in scoring a 49-ball 50, while Sohail Ashraf slammed two sixes and a four in his unbeaten 28 off 18 balls.

Medicam CC, in reply, eased to victory in 18 overs with opener Salman Ali blasting 48 off only 25 balls with six fours and three sixes. Jamil finished on an undefeated 45 off 33 balls with five hits to the fence to earn the Man-of-the-Match award.
