LAHORE, July 11: Col Ahmad Khatak (retired) has been appointed the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) Lahore region director general vice Col Muhammad Iqbal Malik (retired).

Mr Malik has been posted as Nadra international affairs director general.

Underlining his priorities, Mr Khatak said the authority would ensure hassle-free provision of computerised national identity cards to the people.

He said swift measures would be adopted for timely delivery of the cards.

“We will work in the Lahore region as a team to perform better,” Mr Khatak said.
