Abdul Hafiz Shaikh

Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh is the Minister for Finance, Revenue, Economic Affairs Statistics & Planning and Development.

Dr. Shaikh has undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in economics from Boston University. He had worked at Harvard University and World Bank, where he was country head for Saudi Arabia and as a Senior Official advised 21 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America.

Dr. Shaikh was recently elected for a third term as Member, Senate of Pakistan and has served as Pakistan’s Minister for Finance, Revenue, Economic Affairs, Statistics and Planning and Development since March 2010.
