KARACHI: Pakistan’s U-22 football team left for Bahrain on Monday to take part in three friendly matches against Bahrain to tune-up their preparations for the AFC U-22 qualifiers.

Pakistan will play the first friendly on June 13, the second on June 15 and the last one on June 18.

Pakistan has been placed in Group B for the AFC U-22 qualifiers which will be played in Saudi Arabia from June 23-July 3. Kyrgyzstan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka and Syria are alongside Pakistan in Group B.

Pakistan will play their first match against Saudi Arabia on June 23, followed by a match against Sri Lanka on June 25, Kyrgyzstan on June 28, Syria on June 30 and against Palestine on July 03.
