KARACHI, May 21: Opener Hasan Mahmood struck a fine century and spinner Israr-ul-Haq grabbed a five-wicket haul as Al-Noor Gymkhana annihilated Young Society CC by 268 runs in the NBP-KCCA Zone-I Inter-club cricket tournament match at the Student Club Ground in Liaquatabad here the other day.

Hasan blasted 125 from 85 balls with the aid of 14 boundaries and one six to help Al-Noor Gymkhana amass 358-6 in their allotted 40 overs. Umar Imtiaz also batted well to score a 51-ball 77 with seven fours and three sixes, while helping Hasan put on 142 for the second wicket.

Young Society CC, in reply, crashed to 90 all out in 14.3 overs. The wrecker-in-chief was leg-spinner Israr who returned remarkable analysis of five for three runs in three overs.
