LADDAH: Three people were killed and four others injured on Tuesday night when missiles fired by a US drone slammed into a house about 10km west of Wana, the headquarters of South Waziristan Agency.

Sources said the drone that hovered over the area for some time fired two missiles at the house in Kazha Pangai village. The sources said the number of casualties could rise.

However, the AFP news agency said the drone targeted a vehicle parked near the house and that the militants in the car fled before the missiles hit it.
